Welcome to Havant Youth Bowling Club

This site provides a major part of the communication between the club, it's bowlers and their parents and the community in general.  It will also provide a growing amount of information about Havant YBC, it's people and what it does.

  • Sponsorship Needed
    The club is looking to secure additional sponsorship to assist with the future growth of the club and support the continuing successes our bowlers are achieving.  Please click here for a letter from our Club President or contact us directly through the Contacts page.

  • Website first anniversary
    Our website is now a year old!!!  Many thanks to everyone who has provided feedback (both positive and negative) throughout the year. It has been a great first year with over 33,000 'hits' on the site in that time from almost 1,900 unique visitors (the figure on the left).

    We are continuing to look at ways we can develop it further to help with the communication between the club, it's bowlers and parents and the wider community.  Any ideas are welcome - please feel free to contact us through the Contacts Page or catch Nigel Montgomery on a Saturday morning at the bowling centre.

  • 2007-2008 Season Presentation Night
    The date for this year's presentation night has been set for Saturday September 6th.  Venue and further details to be confirmed in the next few weeks but book the date in your diaries.

  • WELL DONE TO ALL OUR BOWLERS AT THE JUNIOR NATIONALS 
    A hearty congratulations to all our young bowlers who went to Chelmsford over the weekend of May 24th/25th for the 42nd NAYBC Junior National Championships.  Everyone bowled really well despite difficult lane conditions and high heat.
    Special congratulations have to go to Annaleise Vokes who took 2nd place in the Senior Girls Singles category and to Kallum Lawrence and Josh Hartley who took 3rd spot in the Junior Regular Doubles section.
    The full results are now available and have been posted in the Results section of this site.  As usual, we have highlighted the Havant bowlers in each of the results lists.

  • More 2008 YBC Squad Photos Now Available in the Gallery 
    We have now published into the Gallery all of the team photos for the YBC League this season.  The versions shown in the Gallery are web optimised so not really suitable for printing out but it is possible to order high quality copies of the photos by completing the ORDER FORM and handing in to Howard or the Desk on a Saturday morning.  Click the link on the left or CLICK HERE to go to the Gallery.
